Resilient Child Fund
If we can heal children’s hearts and minds, we can break the cycle of violence and despair for generations to come.

The Resilient Child Fund is a non-profit organization founded to reduce the long-term negative impact of early childhood trauma through the incorporation of trauma-informed creative healing arts within the therapeutic process. This is accomplished through a variety of fund raising activities for the purpose of providing grants to organizations or individuals that serve children who have had an Adverse Childhood Experience.
Art therapy uses art materials and the creative process to increase self awareness and a positive sense of self. It improves physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Music Therapy is the clinical use of music to address physical, psychological, cognitive and social functioning in people of all ages.
The therapeutic powers of play enable children to express distressing emotions when they do not have the language to express what is troubling them.
Drama therapy taps into a child’s natural tendency to play. It uses role-play to act out issues and problems.
Dance/movement therapy is provided individually or in groups. It contains elements of improviation and structure where a therapist can meet a child’s needs on a non-verbal level.
Resilience is the innate ability to rise above difficult circumstances. The Resilient Child Fund believes that we are all born with an inner capacity to heal.
Make a difference in a child’s life. Our fund will help creative healing programs to thrive and expand.
